Introduction

This page is a combination of two of my favorite topics: the writings of John the Beloved and ancient Hebrew and Christian texts.  It will be primarily a commentary upon the writings of John from a perspective of the writings of the early christians and the hebrews that preceded them.  More than anything else, this is a way for me to organize my thoughts and summarize what I have gleaned over the past 25 years.  I'm trying to get it down in a practical, useful form before I forget it all.  I am neither a scholar nor a researcher but a mere hobbyist.  While I am a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, the views expressed here are mine and are not officially sanctioned by any religious organization.  I am concerned with accuracy, so cordial feedback, either postive or negative, is welcome.
